We currently recognize and present the following three awards: DAR Good Citizens Award DAR Community Service Award American History Essay Contest
DAR Good Citizens Award: DAR Good Citizens Awards are given to outstanding local high school seniors for their contributions to their communities and schools. The DAR Good Citizens program and scholarship contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The program is open to all senior class students enrolled in accredited public or private secondary schools that are in good standing with their State Boards of Education. United States citizenship is not required.

DAR Community Service Award This award recognizes worthy residents, from a variety of walks of life, for voluntary achievements in cultural, educational, humanitarian, patriotic, historical, and citizenship endeavors, or in environmental conservation.

American History Essay Contest In an effort to promote American history and honor significant historical people, places, dates, and events, our chapter now sponsors the American History Essay Contest, open to all students in grades 5, 6, 7, 8.
